The ufaFabrik is the home of Terra Brasilis, who look back on a history of more than 30 years. Under the direction of Manfred Spaniol, the musicians* play mainly original compositions based on Brazilian percussion grooves.
Terra Brasilis have been guests at many international festivals, toured Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, Brazil and Cambodia. They have played at numerous major and cultural events and have made a name for themselves worldwide with their versatile repertoire. In May 1989, while the Soviet Union was still in power, Terra Brasilis became the first Western group to play live in Moscow's Red Square.
Terra Brasilis musicians have been involved in international cultural exchange projects for years.
