Simon Roturier was a member of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra conducted by Claudio Abbado and a scholarship holder of the Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. He subsequently studied at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music. Simon Roturier is primarius of the Noga Quartet, founded in 2009.
