The Berlin Mozart Choir is already celebrating its 100th birthday this year! Founded in 1922, it calls itself the "oldest youth choir in Berlin". Fifteen teenagers and young adults between the ages of about 16 and 28 are currently active. The repertoire includes old to contemporary a capella music, occasionally single pop songs and spirituals. The main focus of rehearsals is the program for its annual summer and Christmas concerts (e.g., in the Chamber Music Hall of the Philharmonie Berlin) with the Mozartini and the Berlin Mozart Children's Choir.
