Christine Thürmer has covered 60,000 kilometers in 40 countries on foot - despite flat feet, X-legs and being overweight. The world's most hiked woman takes you on her trails, where she encounters rattlesnakes and bears, fights her way through volcanic deserts and swamps, and sometimes even gets caught in forest fires and military exercises. She tells of wilderness adventures as well as pilgrimage trails, history trips and gourmet tours - even a hiking trail for the blind is included. Because: no trail fits everyone, but one trail certainly fits you.
More than 10,000 enthusiastic viewers attended her presentation "Laufen. Eat. Sleep." with which she won first prize at Discovery Days 2019. Her three books have been Spiegel bestsellers, and her newest book will be released in spring 2023, fitting for the show.
An event by Literatur LIVE in cooperation with Piper Verlag and Thalia Buchhandlung.
