FAMILY FESTIVAL, LIVE MUSIC, WORKSHOPS ON SUSTAINABILITY AND NEW MUSIC TRENDS FROM FRANCE

CHANCE Festival is coming to Berlin for the first time! For the first time this year, the festival for pop culture, sustainability and diversity will take place not only in Düsseldorf, but also in Berlin as an open-air event at the CFB. Admission is free!



PROGRAM:

16:00 – Animations for children and families, presentation of local initiatives, workshops and participatory circus


16:30 - Rocket Erna, rock band for children


18:30 - Yetundey, rap/hip-hop/R'n'B


20:00 – Mr Giscard, pop/electro/groove


The festival starts at 4 p.m. with an inclusive children's and family party in front of the centre. There is also a hands-on circus and workshops on the subject of sustainability. Initiatives from the neighborhood present how one can get involved locally. The Kreuzberg children's rock band "Wärmeten Erna" will play on stage from 4:30 p.m.

From 6:30 p.m. Yetundey, the multilingual rapper, will take the stage with her band. Yeti is an excellent singer and songwriter and surprises audiences with emotional R&B and hip hop.

From 8 p.m. there will be the Berlin premiere of French newcomer Mr Giscard. The Parisian is a thoroughbred musician and convinces with pop, electro and groove music.

Drinks can be purchased on site and in the communal beetroot garden. Food and snacks are sold by in-house caterer Chez Gustave.

The Chance Festival is sponsored by the German-French Citizens' Fund and is part of the DRAUSSENSTADT initiative, sponsored by the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion and the Foundation for Cultural Training and Cultural Advice
