Blushing out of Blue presents a diverse selection of drawings by Renaux Hering, each using different sculptural approaches that combine tradition and innovation. The pieces range from traditional methods of drawing on paper, glass and framing to the use of resin, paying homage to 1960s Italian aesthetics.
The highlight of the exhibition is drawings made with silicone, an innovative technique that the artist developed herself. In works such as “LinDonna,” a drawing cast in silicone, Renaux Hering captures the beauty of femininity as the nurturer of the continuity of life and the form through which existence inspires the continuous creation of life.
The Artefact.Berlin gallery presents the first solo exhibition by Caterina Renaux Hering, a Brazilian artist living in Berlin. This is her first solo exhibition after graduating from the University of the Arts (UDK) in Berlin. The works are not only displayed, but are integrated into the structure of the exhibition space, giving the gallery a sensual essence.
At the heart of Renaux Hering's artistic vision is her fascination with the human body as a central theme and vehicle for creative expression. Her work explores themes such as transience, eroticism, pleasure and duration. Through her unique perspective, Renaux Hering invites viewers to reflect on real feelings.
Drawing, an integral part of her work, serves as a means to gain the soul's understanding of a constantly evolving self. Like Ariadne's thread, these lines act as a guide for navigating the labyrinth of subjectivity, adding depth to forms and moving from abstraction to clarity.
