In her debut novel, Gorki actor Lea Draeger recounts the history of a family whose roots overshadow the present. Little by little a kaleidoscope emerges of wounds and speechlessness which shape the lives of grandmother, mother and daughter – they are all desperate and cruel, sad and yet strong. The daughter, however, will succeed in overcoming these inherited traumata.
