New acquisitions of the Graphic Arts Collection

n this series of events, a selection of largely unknown graphic works from the collection of the Stadtmuseum Berlin will be presented. Due to Corona, "On Paper" could only take place digitally for two years. During this time, the holdings of the Graphic Arts Collection of the Stadtmuseum Berlin have grown by around 300 works by numerous artists through donations, acquisitions and purchases. Now, for the first time, the series of events is taking place on site again.

Andreas Teltow and Heidi Börner, head and staff member of the Graphic Collection, respectively, will present a cross-section of the collection's growth, including familiar works as well as unique and curious pieces.

The Graphic Collection of the Stadtmuseum Berlin comprises works from the 16th century to the present. The approximately 120,000 sheets in the collection are a pictorial memory of Berlin and its surroundings.
