To mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, the Anne Frank Zentrum is organizing a public family tour of the exhibition "All about Anne" on 26 January.
January 27 marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp. Otto Frank was one of around 8,000 prisoners who remained there, most of whom were terminally ill. He is the only one of the eight people from the Secret Annex who survived the concentration camps. The Anne Frank Center is commemorating the anniversary of the liberation with a guided tour of the Berlin exhibition.
The exhibition "All about Anne" at the Anne Frank Center commemorates Anne Frank and the crimes of the National Socialists. It addresses topics that Anne Frank dealt with in her diary and which are still relevant today. The tour makes a connection between Anne Frank's diary entries and anti-Semitism, racism and other forms of discrimination in the present day. The tour is aimed at families.
