Alfredo Jaar (*1956 in Santiago de Chile, lives in New York) is a versatile artist, architect and filmmaker. For more than four decades he has been intensively engaged with complex socio-political issues and questioning the limits and ethics of representation.
For the Kesselhaus in the KINDL he is developing a new, site-specific installation that sheds light on the current state of our world.
After five years of intensive research into the stresses on our planet, Jaar shares his insights into the ecological and political crises that will shape the future.
