KiezWeihnacht

There is no date yet for this Christmas market in Berlin in 2022

Kieze are Berlin neighbourhoods which people identify with and feel at home in. And you should not miss out on this contemplative neighbourhood Christmas market to look forward to Christmas together.

If you are looking for a cosy Christmas market away from the Christmas rush where you can talk to real Berliners and buy Christmas presents from the local neighbourhood, then the KiezWeihnacht in Friedrichshain is just the place for you.

Traditional neighbourhood Christmas market

Since 2006, Friedrichshain locals and the Samaritan Galilee Church Community have been organising the KiezWeihnacht at the Samariterkirche in Friedrichshain. The organisers, traders and artisans in Friedrichshain want to create a contemplative and neighbourly ambience at this Christmas market.

Gift ideas directly from the neighbourhood

More than 60 exhibitors offer handicrafts, jewellery, children’s toys, Advent decorations and gift ideas of all kinds for sale at their stands. Most of the traders come from the local neighbourhood, so you can easily get to know the shops in the area and talk to local Kiez people.

Christmas delicacies and hot beverages will ensure you are kept well fed and refreshed.

Popular events

The children’s programme, concerts and readings in the Samariterkirche, which are organised by the traditional Protestant parish of Galilee-Samaritan, have enjoyed great popularity for years.
