Tip 1: One last time eat! Berlin - The Gourmet Festival
You can take a last bite of the culinary delicacies on the last weekend of the eat! Berlin. For ten days the Food Festival takes place in the capital. The latest trends in cuisine are created, presented and of course tasted by the guests. So be there and spoil your taste buds.

Tip 2: Dance Me to the End of Love. Dream Weddings
The exhibition of the Museum of European Cultures focuses on the most beautiful day in life. Here you can explore (wedding) dreams and discover the diversity of dreams among people of different ages, religions, professions and nationalities. Dream with us at the interactive exhibition.

Tip 3: Amjad Comedy
Spread laughter - avoid fear that' is the title of stand-up comedian Amjad's solo tour. The Palestinian won the SWR 3 Comedy Award 2018 as well as the Hamburg Comedy Award 2019 and is considered a great talent of the stand-up comedy scene. Look forward to a funny Saturday evening where the differences between German and Arab culture are not taken too seriously.

Tip 4: Exhibition opening MANTEGNA and BELLINI - Masters of the Renaissance
On 1 March the exhibition of works created by Andrea Mantegna and Giovanni Bellini opens its doors. The two Renaissance artists, who are brothers-in-law, mutually influenced each other in their artistic existence, and now you can admire all their paintings and drawings in the Gemäldegalerie (Picture Gallery).

Tip 5: Brunch at the castle
On Sunday morning you can relax and start your day with an idyllic brunch at Schloss Biesdorf. With cake, coffee, fresh bread, homemade yoghurt, muesli or waffles, no breakfast wish will be denied. And after the most delicious meal of the day, the castle park invites you to take a leisurely stroll.

Tip 6: A Summer Night's Dream - Astor Piazolla
With an extraordinary mixture of Tango and Shakespeare, the singers and dance couples, led by Per Ane Glorvigen, present the music of Astor Piazollas. With Katharina Thalbach as storyteller, the audience will be enchanted by a A Summer Night's Dream, Shakespeare's comedy with a South American touch on stage at the Komische Oper Berlin.

Tip 7: Sigurd Rompza – Sehstücke
Works of concrete art? This weekend is your last chance! You can admire the extraordinary sculptures and objects created by the artist Sigurd Rompza one last time in the exhibition "Sehstücke" on the last day of the exhibition before the doors are closed.

Tip 8: Allee der Kosmonauten on stage of Volksbühne Berlin
Dancing at the Volksbühne Berlin. A piece conceived jointly by the well-known choreographer Sasha Waltz and the dancers illuminates the everyday pitfalls of living together. The emotions of a three-generation family are embodied by dancing in the rooms of a prefab apartment. You can look forward to a unique choreography that will surprise you.

Tip 9: Orchid blossom 2019 in the Biosphäre Potsdam
Orchids everywhere. A sea of orchids in all imaginable colours and shapes welcomes you to the biosphere in Potsdam. With a guided tour and various workshops you will learn more about the tropical rainforests. Afterwards you will follow the jungle paths and discover the famous and rare species of the Queen of Flowers.

Tip 10: The last picture. Photography and Death in C/O Berlin
In "The last picture" death is the subject of over 400 exhibition pieces. Photographs from scientific, journalistic and private photography are presented alongside the works of well-known artists such as Gerhard Richter and many others. Moving images about mortality.

Tip 11: C2C: Country to Country, Country Music Festival
C2C this weekend is definitely a must for all fans of country music. After London, Glasgow and Dublin, Europe's biggest country festival is now taking place in our capital. Two days of music are waiting for you in the Berlin Verti Music Hall.
