From 2 to 4 September, Berlin's best coffee roasters will provide an insight into the art of coffee brewing. On Friday, the Coffee Festival starts with a contest at the Theaterforum Kreuzberg, where an international jury will select the best barista.

On the same day and also on Saturday, various workshops and tastings will be held in coffee bars, roasteries, and pop-up stores throughout Berlin.

On Sunday, there will be an extensive tasting of a range of coffees at Markthalle Neun. Guests will also have the chance to sample food delicacies: Everything from sweet to salty from national and international cuisines will be on offer.

This weekend, coffee fans from Germany and across Europe will have the chance to experience Berlin in a whole new way. Our blogger Anna has already visited some of these coffee experts.

Anna’s conclusions: http://blog.visitberlin.de/en/462-my-coffee-conclusion.html As the owner of The Barn has already taught Anna, coffee is a passion, not a science - and we're also convinced. Have a great time at the Coffee Festival!

Ps.: Check out more culiary highlights in Berlin like vegan cuisine or streetfood.
