Berlin not only has delicious food, you can also eat out in style. Every month we look for the best, the tastiest and the most exciting food spots for you.
1. CODA
Have you heard? Berlin’s first dessert bar opened in August! In Neukölln you can look forward to fancy sweet treats, lovingly prepared from unusual recipes.
2. Shiso Burger
Asian cuisine combined with hamburgers – it might sound strange at first, but the founders of Shiso Burger have turned it into delicious reality. As side dishes you can not only choose traditional fries, but also kimchi and edamame beans. The sauces and buns are home-made and our mouths are watering just thinking about it.
3. DANDY DINER
The Dandy Diner, which already made headlines with its wild opening party, offers many vegan delicacies. Whether it’s salad, a sandwich or fruit juice you want – the little restaurant in Karl-Marx-Straße has something for everyone.
4. Sala da Mangiare
Mamma mia! Sala da Mangiare serves up genuine Italian delicacies. Its owners place particular value on the origin of the ingredients. At the small, rustically furnished restaurant, the pasta is home-made and a suitable Italian wine is available for every dish.
5. Bonanza Coffee
Nothing beats a fresh cup of coffee, right? If you want to warm yourself up after a bracing walk through the Mauerpark, then why not drop into Bonanza Coffee and enjoy a brew from beans fresh out of the roaster? And best of all - you can buy beans to take home with you!
6. Stone Brewing Berlin
Right next to the gasometer, this month’s final food spot has only just opened up. This restaurant is all about craft beer, but Stone Brewing Berlin also offers a varied culinary mix including pulled pork, tacos, pasta and much more besides.
