Berlin is a culinary hotspot. Whether traditional cuisine, international specialities or top restaurants - the food scene in the capital is as delicious as it is varied. Every month we go on a search for the most beautiful, delicious and extraordinary food spots in the city.

1. Herr Lindemann

Mr. Lindemann is not just another bar but a cocktail herb parlour at the idyllic Richardplatz. Mr. Lindemann serves self-created cocktails with herbs and thus creates completely new delicious flavours. The bar is furnished in the trendy shabby-chic industrial style with an unplastered ceiling and is a real tip in the cosy Rixdorf district.

When: Monday - Tuesday 7pm - 3am, Wednesday - Friday 7pm- 4am, Saturday 7pm - 2am, Sunday 7pm - 3am

2. Seaside

Fish & Seafood - the Seaside brings the sea to the city and you to the sea. The restaurant at the Gendarmenmarkt with its maritime ambience offers a daily changing selection of freshly caught fish, mussels and everything else the sea has to offer. By the way, you can choose your food at the fresh food counter before it is prepared for you.

3. Winterfeldt-Schokoladen

The chocolate heaven for all sweet toothers and sweet toothers is the Laden-Café Winterfeldt Schokoladen. In a pharmacy from the 19th century, the shop sells the finest chocolates of all kinds and from all over the world, including the delicious own brand. In the café you should try the drinking chocolate - or the selected, freshly brewed coffee. You can combine breakfast on Wednesday and Saturday with a stroll through the popular Winterfeldtplatz market.

4. Arminius-Markthalle

The Arminius market hall in Moabit dates from the 19th century. Since its extensive renovation, it has combined tradition and modernity, gastronomy and food offerings with high-quality products from the region. Here you can feast on street food and delicatessen from all over the world, take a break over a coffee or aperitif or buy everything for a cooking evening with friends.

5. Bombay Cafe Bunty’s

New in the City West is the Bombay Cafe Bunty's. The fine aromas and Indian ingredients not only bring you closer to Ayurvedic cuisine, but also taste fantastic. Not only the cuisine is authentic, but also the stylish ambience seems to come directly from Mumbai.

Where: Bombay Cafe Bunty's, Knesebeckstraße 18, Charlottenburg
When: Tuesday - Friday Noon - 11pm, Saturday + Sunday:  4pm -11pm
