Berlin not only has delicious food, you can also eat out in style. Every month we look for the best, the tastiest and the most exciting food spots for you.
1. The Visit Coffee Roastery
We love coffee, which is why our first food spot in October was The Visit Coffee Roastery. This café, in the immediate vicinity of the Kottbusser Tor, serves delicious home-roasted coffee in sophisticated minimalist surroundings.
2. Laauma
Plants only! Regardless of whether it’s lunch, coffee & cake or dinner – in the Laauma you can expect a host of vegan delicacies, every day from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. On Sundays, there is also a delicious brunch. Enjoy the burgers, pizza, cakes and a whole lot more!
3. Burgermeister
Are you in Kreuzberg? Then you need to try the Burgermeister near the U-Bahn station Schlesisches Tor. They have been serving homemade burgers, with delicious sauces and fresh chips, from this unique location for the past 10 years. Everything is freshly prepared in front of you – bon appetit.
4. Wonderwaffel
Let's be honest, when it gets colder outdoors and we want a piece of cake, fruit tarts have become a bit boring – right? Wonderwaffel offers a perfect alternative. Here you can create your own waffles according to your own taste ... at four locations in Berlin. And if it rains, you can even have your favourite waffle delivered.
5. Fassbender & Rausch
Attention chocolate fans! You will feel like you're in heaven at Fassbender und Rausch on Gendarmenmarkt! On the ground floor, there is chocolate in every shape and colour, such as filled chocolates, chocolate bars and even chocolates shaped like tourist sights. On the first floor, there is a café and a restaurant in which you can allow yourself to be talked into trying one of the many types of chocolate. I recommend the hot chocolate with a 70% cocoa content and a delicious cream topping!
