Berlin is a culinary hotspot, whether it’s traditional cuisine, international specialities or top class restaurants – the capital’s food scene is as delectable as it is varied. Each month, we go on the look out for the city’s most attractive, tasty and exceptional food spots for you.

Pincho Nation

Pinchos are small Swedish snacks that you can put together here just as you like. Choose from a variety of internationally inspired delicacies, accompanied by colourful cocktails and splashes of colour in the red and gold circus atmosphere of Pincho Nation. The first branch in Berlin of the successful Swedish restaurant chain is completely in the style of the 1920s. By the way, you can reserve, order and pay using the Pincho Nation app.

Irma La Douce

A free glass of champagne when you arrive will put you in just the right mood for a feast of enjoyment for all the senses. Inspired by French cuisine, the menu includes both classics and new interpretations. There are sweetbreads, snails and venison with pumpkin, churros and Ras el Hanout, all accompanied by recommended wines, with over 300 different wines in the impressive wine cooler, which contributes to the stylish chic of the new restaurant from the people responsible for Eins44.

A full programme of pampering for connoisseurs: at Bricole you order a menu of between three and five courses. A selection of wines is served with the small, combinable delicacies. Riesling lovers in particular are well catered for here. For a corking fee you can also bring your own favourite wine.
