What’s going on in Berlin this autumn?

Festival of Lights & other highlights

As the weather begins to turn in autumn, things are getting hotter here in Berlin. Here are our best tips for autumn, both indoors and out.

Light shows all over the city

The city is lit up for the first half of October in every colour of the rainbow: the Festival of Lights and Berlin leuchtet turn the city into a brilliant sea of colour and light, even more so than is usually the case! Colourful lianas will intertwine around the Brandenburg Gate and red hearts will adorn Berlin Cathedral. Spectacular installations will showcase Berlin’s sights, squares, and entire streets, so be there when the whole city turns into a fascinating glittering metropolis.
