The popular bathing spot in summer is also worth a visit during the Christmas season.
On the old Schlachtensee market place in Zehlendorf, a small Advent market will take place this year once again on the second Saturday of Advent.
Not far from the bathing lake, which is always popular in summer, you can enjoy the cosy neighbourhood atmosphere and fuel your anticipation for Christmas.
Handicrafts and other beautiful things
Various craftspeople and artists present their works at different stands. You can buy unique one-of-a-kind items for yourself or as gifts for your loved ones. The contemplative Christmas market is accompanied by the singing of the Werner-von-Siemens-Gymnasium school choir.
Delicious vintner’s mulled wine
A highlight of the small but exquisite Christmas market is without doubt the mulled wine and the children’s punch, which come directly from the vintner. You can taste it. It is best to drink it while eating meatballs, fried sausages or waffles. Alternatively, you can also enjoy delicious cakes and coffee.
Exciting fairy tales and visits from the far north
Young visitors to the Christmas Market can listen to exciting stories from the storyteller and eagerly await the arrival of Santa Claus.
