- 23 presentations and seminars worldwide
- Organisation and support of 62 study tours to Berlin with 1,569 participants from 23 countries
- various sales calls, acquisition trips, mailings and professional market consultancy
Press:
- 79 press releases on Berlin themes as a service to journalists
- Organisation of study tours for journalists to Berlin with 940 participants from approx. 620 media from 41 countries
- Research and editing of approx. 4,000 press enquiries
- Realisation of 30 national and 26 international press conferences
- Media service "Trip to Berlin" with integrated trade press service for 3,000 national and international media
- 78 visits of national and international editorial offices
Berlin Convention Office:
- 51 trade fairs / workshops and presentations in 14 countries
- 3 study tours to Berlin with 44 participants from 3 countries
- 46 congress applications for international associations and companies each with 1,000 participants
- Handling of 157 enquiries for congresses, conventions, incentives and events
- Meeting Place Berlin with 99 participants from 13 countries (Europe)
Communications:
- Publication of 3.8 million brochures and flyers in various languages for consumers and partners of the travel industry every year
- Detailed information via internet; approx. 350,000 visits and 1.5 million page impressions per month, websites available in 11 languages, extensive event calendar with up to 7,000 entries, online reservations for accommodations and tickets, online shop (brochures, souvenirs), e-newsletter service, special services for partners of the travel industry and media representatives
- WebTV-platform visitBerlin.TV: touristic WebTV channel of the destination Berlin; broadcasting in German and in English
Customer Services:
- Handling of approx. 104,000 telephone enquiries and 42,000 written requests for information and reservations in its own Call Center
- approx. 30,000 mail-orders of touristic information
