Winter in Berlin
Despite of not being a traditional destination for winter sports, you can go for a ride down the slopes of several winter sport centres in Berlin. The "Gletscher" (Berliner Straße 21), which claims to have the longest indoor slope of the world, also offers courses to take part in. Whoever wants to enjoy ice-skating will have the opportunity to do so. There are few chances to find natural places to go in Berlin, as the winter is rather mild.
Ice-Skating rinks
There are many ways for figure skaters and ice princesses to show their capabilities in Berlin. There are indoor and outdoor ice skating rings. Some of them are set up on the boulevards and squares, so people can skate among the city lights. The frozen lakes offer a very special winter feeling for skater enjoying the nature.

Toboggan run
There are many hills in Berlin, where people can test their toboggans. Some of the parks have slopes for untroubled toboggan fun, too. More
