Blue men are taking over the city!
The highly successful US production ‘Blue Man Group’ began its European triumph in 2004 at the theatre on Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. Based on their huge success there, the performance group got their very own theatre three years later: directly across the street, a former cinema was remodelled to suit the needs of this spectacular and unusual show.
The unique format of the show has become a genre unto itself: the Blue Man Group represents a mix of multi-media, percussion, and colour - a lot of colour. And the extraordinary and hugely successful concept of this show is currently wowing audiences outside of Berlin as well: in New York, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Orlando and Zurich.
The colourful spectacle is based on spontaneity and lots of interactivity. The Blue Man Group thrives on the excitement of their audiences, who has a hand in the continuity of each and every show. Such a concept makes for ever new and exciting combinations, which have earned this new genre the fitting name ‘Eventertainment’.
Each show offers seating for over 600 spectators at the Bluemax Theatre in the heart of Berlin on Potsdamer Platz, which was specifically remodelled for the Blue Man Group.
