Museum The Kennedys
"Ich bin ein Berliner!"
Willy Brandt promised that Berlin would create a monument to John F. Kennedy. Almost half a century after the assassination of the charismatic President, The Kennedys Museum is proving that he and his family have lost nothing of their fascinating appeal.
The Museum The Kennedys tells the story of the family from the time they emigrated from Ireland and their subsequent rise to the status of a legendary American dynasty. The collection includes treasured and personal objects once owned by the Kennedy family, famous photographs, important documents, books and films. One of the focal points is the life and political career of John F. Kennedy. Other themes covered by the exhibition include his celebrated visit to Berlin in June 1963, which was one of the highlights of his presidency.
