Berlin School and Dresden painting

Michael Jastram: Torstrasse, Bronze 2012 – © Galerie Leo.Coppi

Doris Leo and Helle Coppi founded the gallery LEO.COPPI in 1991.
The gallery's concept focuses on expressive and figurative works by established artists from the first and second generations of the Berlin School and Dresden, such as Harald Metzkes, Wolfgang Leber, Konrad Knebel, Herta Günther, Robert Metzkes, Reinhard Stangl, Angela Hampel, Sylvia Hagen and Michael Jastram.

Furthermore, the gallery is dedicated to fostering young artists and involved with the estates of late Heinrich Zille, Arno Mohr, Hans Laabs, Manfred Böttcher and Werner Stötzer. For more than twenty years the long-term program has rested on the quality and individuality of the artistic composition.
