Kuchen Kaiser

Kuchen Kaiser

Kreuzberg coffee klatsch

In 1866 Konrad Kaiser founded his business Kuchen-Kaiser at the Oranienplatz in Kreuzberg, and it is still there. Couplet singer Otto Reutter describes one of Kuchen Kaiser's stores in the poem "Jahrmarktsrummel". One of the most famous frequenters was the composer Paul Lincke who played skart here reguarly. Kuchen Kaiser has received the signet "Berlin barrierefrei" (barrier-free).
