Enjoying contemporary art peacefully

– © Haus am Waldsee

The Haus am Waldsee is one of the top addresses for contemporary and modern art within the southwest of Berlin — and that’s not a recent development. Already in 1945/46, the first exhibitions took place here with works by Hannah Höch, René Sintenis and Hermann Blumenthal. Since then, regular rotating exhibitions by younger international artists belong to the programme as well as exhibitions with works by renowned pioneers of modernity.
