Hackesche Höfe + Oranienburger Straße
Partying in Berlin-Mitte.
Glamour, stars and cool locations – this is the area around the Hackesche Höfe and Oranienburger Straße. A top- spot for all visitors to Berlin. For those going for a stroll in summer from Monbijouplatz to Friedrichstraße, it’s like going through one single, enormous open-air party, with one bar packed against the next. There’s something to suit everybody’s taste here. With all its restaurants, bars and clubs, the area is a perfect starting point for Berlin’s night life. You don’t have to miss out on cultural entertainment either – the Varieté Chamäleon (Chameleon Variety Theatre), theatres, cinemas and artists’ studios all make sure of that. One U-Bahn stop further along at the Naturkundemuseum station, is the oldest dance bar in Berlin – the Ballhaus Berlin provides a glittering mirror ball, fluttering garlands as well as original table telephones dating from 1938.
