A venue for all those, who wish to see, understand, and experiment with dance – this is the sweeping motto of Fabrik Potsdam, and basis for their extensive and sophisticated programme. Here, young dancers and choreographers of international renown stage their productions.

Since its inception in 1991, the international festival "Potsdamer Tanztage" (Potsdam Dance Days) is held each May and has become an integral part of Brandenburg’s cultural calendar. In addition, workshops and periodic courses are held here for professionals as well as amateurs, which are aimed at offering more understanding and different viewpoints on the topic of contemporary dance.
