With its resplendent self-made wallpaper flaunting small coronets, the “East London” Restaurant makes a good job of delighting its guests. The classic English cuisine, such as bangers & mash or the delicious savoury Sunday roast, a meal that in England traditionally brings the family together, even has ex-pats from all over the region flocking here. Meals are prepared in the completely traditional way, and occasionally with the addition of that special je ne sais quoi. The kitchen staff is entirely from the British Isles – Scots, Irish and English, and each of them has brought recipes from his own region with him.
