The Dussmann ‘culture store’ on Friedrichsstrasse has the largest classical music department in the world. But fans of Jazz, Pop and international music will also find their tastes satisfied. The store, which is one of the most famous media outlets in Germany, offers a large selection of audio-books, music scores, gifts, stationery and, of course, books. The range of books includes all types of literature and publications for every occasion: novels, guides, picture-books, reference works, photographic collections and everything else that can be found in volume form. Comfortable chairs are scattered throughout the building for customers.
Dussmann also arranges frequent cultural events, including readings and small concerts.
