‘Wurst’ anyone?

Seeing, smelling, doing - that’s the motto of the German ‘curry wurst’ Museum! This event exhibition with and about Berlin’s favourite snack has made visitor's mouths water since August 2009.

The story of Herta Heuwer, the inventor of the ‘chillup’ sauce, and urban legends about the beloved ‘curry wurst’ can be found here, as well as famous film clips (German TV series ‘Drei Damen vom Grill’) and a ‘sausage’ sofa or the seasoning room, where visitors can try out everything. There is plenty of information and curiosities to round off the topic, and even ecology aspects of the ‘curry wurst’ have their place here.
