This club has plunged the capital into basketball fever: Alba Berlin. Eight German Championship titles, five Pokal Cup wins and the win of the European Korac Cup—that’s the athletic balance of the past years. As former home ground, the Max Schmeling Hall would soon not be able to contain the masses of spectators. That’s why, as of 2008, the “Albatrosse” carry out their home games in the O2 World. More than 11,000 fans regularly cheer their team on, and hope that many further successes can also be celebrated.
