Cardiology

Even today, diseases of the cardiovascular system such as high blood pressure, heart failure, strokes and heart attacks are still among the most common diseases in industrialized countries, which is why nearly all Berlin hospitals offer expert treatment of cardiovascular diseases. What is more, Berlin is a world leader in cardiology – high-profile people and celebrities from around the world come here to take advantage of these services. Even the tiniest patients with a heart disorder are given the chance to live life with a healthy heart, e.g. in the Deutsches Herzzentrum (German Heart Institute).
