Bike Tours

If you wish to see a number of different attractions in one go, the best way is by bike. Although the individual neighbourhoods can be easily explored on foot, Berlin is very spread out due to its former division into east and west. If, for example, you want to visit the Memorial Church in the City West district and Berlin Museum Island in the City Ost on the same day, you can easily travel between both attractions on two wheels. Most places are just a few minutes' away by bike. There are also several well-signposted cycle routes in Berlin. If, on the other hand, you'd rather discover the urban jungle in the company of an expert guide, you can choose from a wide range of group cycling tours on offer.

Freischwimmer (EN)

Chill out in a restaurant along the water

Located directly on the water, this romantic, relaxed and comfortable restaurant is decorated with wooden furniture, old lamps and ornate picture frames. Simply put, Freischwimmer is a cool location in Kreuzberg’s Flutgraben area. The restaurant is in a very old building that was once used for renting and repairing boats. The entrance is directly next to Berlin’s oldest gas station. You can sit outdoors during the summer and indoors during the winter.
