On the 300th Anniversary of Frederick the Great

The choice of name is not accidental: The Friederisiko theme year, a composition of Frederick and risk focuses on one of the most eccentric personalities of the 18th century. In 2012 Frederick the Great, also known as “The Old Fritz” would have been 300 years old. Numerous events and exhibitions in Potsdam and Berlin will be dedicated to the achievements and works of the absolutist monarch.
