Mozart's opera "The Marriage of Figaro" stage by Christoph Hagel in the Bode Museum at Museum Island.
The opera is a social comedy: everyone is has a relationship mit everybody, everyone messes up the plans of everybody, everyone has something on somebody. Nothing goes as planned. Social foundations break into pieces, human certainty disappeared into thin air and souls have only one support: the music of Mozart.
At the castle of count Almaviva it is all haywire. Instead of taking care of his recently lawful wedded wife the earl prefers to chase after her chambermaid Susanna. But Susanna wants to marry the valet Figaro. In the wedding of Figaro not only count Almaviva is after an adventure but all those present seem to be in a sexual state of emergeny.
