Berlin Artists

Berlin is a city for hedonists and artists. The crossover between the two is often seamless. However, one fact that is certain is that more than 6,000 artists paint, sculpt and perform in the German capital. This is where the young art of today might be picked up for large collections tomorrow. Renowned artists such as Olafur Eliasson and Thomas Demand live in Berlin, while George Grosz, Otto Dix und Max Beckmann captured the face of the city in earlier times. Berlin has served as an inspiration for all of these artists.
