Berlin audiences are thrilled by the gorgeous costumes, wonderful dance numbers and spectacular stage sets in the city's many musical theatres. They also love the nightly cabarets, peppy music revues and innovative show formats.

At the legendary Friedrichstadt-Palast, you can see the spectacular production Show Me, while you can enjoy shows at the Estrel's Stars in Concert with impersonators of show biz legends so real that your breath will be taken away. At the Chamäleon theatre in the Hackesche Höfe, you can enjoy the charismatic C!RCA ensemble at Beyond that elegantly balances on the edge of what's acrobatically possible.

Musicals are also at home in Berlin. Vincent Paterson's cult production Cabaret - The Musical will light up the night at the Tipi am Kanzleramt (Tepee at the Chancellor's Office) this summer. At the Stage Theater am Potsdamer Platz, the smash hit Hinterm Horizont continues its successful run. The musical with hits by German pop star Udo Lindenberg tells a love story from the era of the Berlin Wall. Also on Potsdamer Platz, you can experience a show of an entirely different kind: the Blue Man Group puts on multimedia spectacle full of colour.

In addition, Berlin's stages are home to imaginative entertainment of all stripes, from drag shows to interactive playback theatre, from over dinner mysteries to Berlin popular songs, or chansons in the pitch-dark Dunkelrestaurant. Something for every taste is guaranteed to be on offer. Be surprised by what you discover!
